Rehabilitation project developed in Hernandez Pijuan’s widow’s house, the well known painter in la Segarra. The intention was to give a new use to the different rooms in the house by transforming them into a Conferences and Expositions centre leaving the widow’s flat on the top floor.
Her sons, a gastronome and an architect decided to build their houses attached to their mother’s house. To create a sense of unity in the whole project a stone’s wall system was used; it organizes the territory and generates the skeleton for the construction of the houses at the same time it takes in consideration the characteristic factors of the area.
